How to reconcile a granddaughter with her grandmother?
Daughter is 15 years old. As with any teenager, there are plenty of problems, but I try not to bore her with moralizing. Here's mineher mother loves to raise her, repeating that at that age she was almost feeding the whole family. My daughter doesn’t like it when they tell her this, she replies that it was a long time ago, there was anotherlife and she is not interested in how her grandmother lived at that time.
And yesterday my mother called and said that her granddaughter did not want to communicate with her and did not answer phone calls. I asked my daughter why she ignores her grandmother. She replied: “I blocked her, I’m already tired of her.” I asked to be unblocked, butThe daughter insisted that her grandmother was ruining her life.
I tried to explain to my mother that there was no need to bother her and call her several times a day. Mom was offended and said that as a child she had given so much time and effort to her granddaughter, but now it turns out that she doesn’t need it.
