Hospitable friend
I invited you somehowgirlfriend (already ex) on herbirthday . My husband and I spent a long time choosing a gift for her, I usually bother with this, I like to do something nice. She asked to come early and help her set the table.
There are no questions, we arrived an hour before the appointed time, and she was still in her nightgown, and another friend of hers was visiting with her son, and she also came out sleepy. And the guests will arrive in an hour, nothing is ready at all!
They moved two tables, a tablecloth, and chairs. She puts three cakes and a bottle of vodka on the table. The guests began to arrive. It turned out that she invited about 20 people, all with children. Half of the guests had nowhere to sit, so they ate cakes while standing. The men poured themselves a glass; there was nothing to snack on except the cake.
My husband and I now remember this “sweet table” as a parable. If you don’t want to, don’t like to cook, gather everyone in a cafe or restaurant, fortunately we have a lot of them. Everyone will pay for their portion (this is how we do it) and that’s it, we’ll have a blast and everyone will be happy.
