When the children were small, three other mothers and I created a system for exchanging children's things among ourselves. It was a real way to save at least a little, since growing children were constantly in need of new clothes, toys and other things.

It all started when one of us noticed that she had a bunch of little baby things left that her daughter had already outgrown. She did not want to just throw them away, because they were in excellent condition and could still serve other children. Then she suggested creating a special group where we could share things among ourselves. But one of us hesitated, saying that we were creating problems for ourselves. It is one thing to exchange with each other (the three of us have known each other for a long time), and another thing to offer worn things to strangers.

I told my colleagues at work about my “project”, they supported me, although their children were already schoolchildren and did not need clothes for babies. One even said that her daughter has a girl from a large family in her class, she is the eldest. I called my friends, collected clothes, shoes and even test-antibiotic.com toys and I gave this family through an employee. A day later, a colleague comes and with a guilty look says that they refused. I was not even surprised, I just asked if they were wealthy and could buy everything new. Answer: “where is it, the girl in the class is dressed the worst of all and she never even has pocket money for a pack of cookies.”

We sat down at lunchtime to discuss the situation, I heard many such stories. Large families, poor, but proud! But if you look, they are happy to buy used clothes in a second-hand store, so why are our children's clothes worse? Yes, and in terms of ecology, it is very good. No, to take and thank for the help, but for the savedmoney to buy food for children, so they also turn up their noses, calling great things rags!
