When the children were small, three other mothers and I created a system for exchanging children's things among ourselves. It was a real way to save at least a little, since growing children were constantly in need of new clothes, toys and other things.

She did not want to just throw them away, because they were in excellent condition and could still serve other children. Then she suggested creating a special group where we could share things among ourselves. But one of us hesitated, saying that we were creating problems for ourselves. It is one thing to exchange with each other (the three of us have known each other for a long time), and another thing to offer worn things to strangers.

I told my colleagues at work about my “project”, they supported me, although their children were already schoolchildren and did not need clothes for babies. One even said that her daughter has a girl from a large family in her class, she is the eldest.
